48-27 F-15QA Ababil QEAF

The F-15QA “Ababil”  was originally ordered by the Qatari Emiri Air Force in 2017 with 36 aircraft as part of the acquisition.  Powered by the F110-GE-129 engines and with a new Fly-By-Wire system, the QA is the most powerful and maneuverable F-15 every built.
The cockpit features a new Large Area Display along with other avionics and mission enhancements to include the AN/APG-82(v)1 AESA radar.  The Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) is also new to the aircraft.
The F-15QA is the predecessor to the F-15EX that is currently being purchased by the USAF.
There are decal options for the Roll Out/Delivery aircraft, a demo aircraft from RIAT 2024 as well as various line aircraft with different size tail markings.
Two sets of stencils are included, one each for the Great Wall and Revell kit.  The BAM Models EX/QA update kit is highly recommended to build an accurate version of the F-15QA.

48-286 F-15E Black Panther Drone Killers

Following in the footsteps of their previous CENTCOM deployments, the Black Panthers deployed back to the CENTCOM AOR in 2023, and decorated their aircraft with an amazing lineup of nose art.  While deployed, the Black Panthers were involved in a variety of air-to-ground and air-to-air engagements, including the shootdown of over 70 Iranian drones launched at Israel on April 13, 2024.
Twelve AC, each with unique noseart are represented on this sheet with enough stencil markings for two complete jets.

48-285 F-4N/F-14A VF-201 Lone Star Hunters

US Naval Reserve fighter squadron VF-201 was established at NAS Dallas on 25 July 1970.  It flew the F-8H Crusader and in 1976 transitioned to the F-4N Phantom II and later the F-4S version.  In 1987 they transitioned to the F-14A and were the last Navy squadron to fly the F-4.
The two Hunter aircraft on this sheet are two of the more colorful CAG jets that have flown with this squadron.  The F-14A represented is in the last scheme that was worn for it’s fini- flight to AMARG upon the Tomcat retirement while the F-4N scheme adorned this AC in 1977.
There are enough markings for both complete aircraft.  There were not many stencils on this particular F-14 but there was a lot of graffiti that adorned this jet for it’s fini-flight.
Stencils for the F-4N can be sourced from the excellent selection that are part of the Tamiya boxing of this kit.

48-284 F-16C Nellis Cajun Aggressors

On 5 May 2023, the 706th Fighter Squadron "Cajuns" was officially re-designated as the 706th Aggressor Squadron.
Flying out of Nellis AFB, Nevada, the 706th AGRS is part of the 926th Wing and the third aggressor squadron supporting Red Air training and test evaluation activities.  The 706th has the unique distinction of being the only US Air Force Reserve squadron supporting this important mission.
The 706th flies the Block 30B version of the Viper.  These aircraft were transferred from the 457th FS/301st FW pf MAS/JRB in Fort Worth, TX.
This sheet contains two complete sets of markings of the new plainted Wing King jet, nicknamed "FELON" along wiht a line jet painted in the "Have Glass V" Radar Cross Section (RCS) reduction scheme.
Stencils are included both both the Tamiya and Kinetic kit along with unique markings for five different options of the AN/ALQ-167 "Angry Kitten" EW/EA Pod.

48-283 F-16A/B Vipers of the Caribbean

The 198th FS converted from the A-7D/K to the F-16 in the Air Defense Fighter (ADF) variant in 1992. At that time most ANG units were equipped with this version of the somewhat older A/B models of the viper. Even though the 198th was flying the ADF variant of the F-16, they were trained in the bombing role as well. The ADF version featured the addition of a CWI module on the APG-66 radar, a search light on the port side of the nose, more adapted communication equipment, an Advanced Identification Friend or Foe (AIFF) system and the possibility to fire AIM-7 or the later AIM-120 missiles.
The era of the F-16 with the 198th FS didn’t last that long. In 1998 the Staff decided that the squadron would be better suited as an airlift squadron and the unit converted to the C-130E. The 198th sent most of their F-16 airframes to AMARC, where most of them still reside today (2012). All together the F-16 days of the squadron only reached 6 years before transition took place.
This sheet features enough markings options for 20 AC with stencils to build 2 complete aircraft.

48-282 F-16C/D Wild Ducks

The 309th FS is part of the 56th Operations Group based at Luke AFB, AZ.  It currently operates the F-16C/D Fighting Falcon
Established in 1942, the “Wild Ducks” supported the European Theater flying the Spitfire Vs as the squadrons P-39s and P-40s were deemed unsuitable against German aircraft.  They later transitioned to the P-51 till the end of WWII.
During the Cold War the 309th flew the P-80A, F-84E and after being reassigned to TAC, they flew the F-4E.

Since the Gulf War, the unit has flown the F-16 and The “Wild Ducks” AC on this sheet represents the 80th Anniversary scheme of the 309th.

AC 90-0778 is an F-16D that was inherited from the 19th TFS at Shaw AFB and is the only F-16 to ever shoot down a MiG-25.  “Benji 41” flown by Gen Gary North accomplished this kill on 27 Dec, 1992 and this paint scheme commemorates that MiG kill.  This aircraft was assigned to the 310th FS Top Hats.  They have recently transitioned to the F-35.

Full stencils for both aircraft are included on this sheet.  There are also (2) sets of masks included since the upper and lower wing/horizontal stab markings are identical.  Both of these AC schemes were designed by the very talented Ssgt Michael Cichonsky of the 309th with very detailed references provided directly by him.

48-281 F-16 Press to Test Anniversary

October 14, 1947 was a historic date in aviation.  On that date, Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier in the X-1 aircraft at Edwards AFB, CA.  Every year since that date, Edwards AFB and the aviation world has celebrated this historic achievement.

Edwards AFB hosts their annual Open House in October to coincide with this historic event.  On occasion a commemorative paint scheme is applied to an ED aircraft and we have recreated both the 70th and 75th Anniversary schemes on this sheet.

The NF-16D VISTA was originally a Block 30 aircraft. It has undergone many extensive modifications in it's life to include the MATV engine nozzle, software OFP upgrades and other upgrades to facilitate use as a flying qualities testbed for the USAF Test Pilot School.

On 14 June 2021, VISTA received the Skyborg System for Autonomous Control of Simulation (SACS) and was re designated as the X-62A.

The new paint scheme of the X-62A was designed by Mike Machat who is a well known artist with deep ties to the Edwards AFB community.

48-280 F-16 Long Live the Viper!

The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force (USAF). Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,700 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976.  In 1993, General Dynamics sold its aircraft manufacturing business to the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
In addition to active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, and Air National Guard units, the aircraft is also used by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team, and as an adversary/aggressor aircraft by the United States Navy.  As of 2022, it was the world's second most manufactured jet aircraft and the most numerous fixed-wing aircraft in military service.
A truly iconic aircraft with a history as rich as the B-17, P-51, F-86, F-4, F-14 and other aircraft, the latest version of the F-16 is the  F-16V Block 70/72 export version with numerous new buys as well as countries upgrading their current aircraft to the Block 70/72 configuration.

48-279 F-117A Return from the Dead

The Nighthawk is back!

Throughout 2021/2022 we've seen these three AC flying simulated cruise missile missions in support of numerous training events in the US.  These aircraft were seen supporting these missions in Fresno, CA and also in support of the Savannah Sentry event in Georgia.  We've captured these aircraft in these markings and added a couple of bonus subjects along the way.

These bonus subjects include an F-117A from Palmdale, CA that was finished in a gray RAM coating during the early days of the program..  This specific jet was a Lockheed Martin flyable spare, time frame unknown.

Two previously released Gray Dragon schemes that were deployed out to Holloman AFB in the mid-2000's are also included on this sheet.

48-278 EA-18G Rooks and Jackets

VAQ-137 "Rooks" are currently based at NAS Whidbey Island support numerous deployment and exercise detachments on board the USS Harry Truman (CVN-75).  They deployed for the very first time in 2015 aboard the USS Theodore Rooselvelt (CVN-71) in 2015.

VAQ-138 "Yellow Jackets" transitioned to the EA-18G Growler in 2009.  They typically deploy from land bases and most recently have supported deployments to Japan and Nellis AFB.

This decal sheet provides full markings for both CAG aircraft from the represented squadrons.  Stencils for the ALQ-99 pods are also included.
